Hey KF,

Thanks for promo-ing the Menu for Hope.

Just a small correction - I am paying for the shipping (all of it) and up to $50 for any duty or taxes (which should more than cover any mean taxman's demands for pretty well any country in the world...).

Can you believe we've more than doubled last years donations!!
Hooray for all of those who've donated so far.

Late-breaking news: since UE22 (Michael Ruhlman's package) contains actual meat (a charcuterie gift box), it cannot be shipped outside the United States, due to laws about shipping meat internationally. Perhaps a confab with organizers can find a way around this dilemma, since at least one Canadian has bought chances on winning the cookbook. (I never dreamed this would be a problem when the Cleveland-born chef offered up some of his fine charcuterie to accompany Michael Ruhlman's cookbook.)

Sorry to be a pain—hope it all works out for all parties. Michael Ruhlman was excited to be able to partner his book with this meat, and we're just hoping it can work. Thanks, Kat and everyone else.
